It’s World AIDS Day today. Almost 10 years ago I lost my cousin Wayne (circled above) to AIDS at 35. I still miss him. People seem to forget these days that AIDS isn’t just a disease in Africa. There is still no cure, though they are getting closer than ever before. Please give to the cause in any way you can, be it financial or just getting the word out there.
Today Starbucks is giving 5 cents from every handcrafted drink sold to the (Red) foundation. I think Bono is a douche, but the cause is just. Every little bit helps.

Interactive light show will illuminate Olympic skies
Starting at dusk on February 4, 2010, 20 robotic searchlights will create a quiet canopy of light in the night sky above and on the surface of English Bay with designs created by people around the world and delivered over the Internet. Called Vectorial Elevation, it is the first time the internationally celebrated work of art will be displayed in Canada and over a body of water.
